RIO Education Certification

Earn your RIO Education Certification. Designed for our SIS Partner Program, we offer two types of certification: Functional and Technical.

Certification is a mandatory milestone that enables our Partners to implement a RIO Education project. RIO Education Certification is granted to individuals and is required to participate in a RIO Education implementation.

Certified Functional Consultant

The Functional Consultant Certification is required for team members with a Business Analyst, Functional Consultant, and/or Project Manager skillset.

Estimated time to complete this certification: ~28 hours

Functional Certification Steps:

1. Complete RIO Challenges (~8 hours).
2. Complete of RIO Recipe training (2 hours).
3. Complete RIO Recipe exercises using our fictional Caloundra University (~16 hours).
4. Final Exam: Presentation of completed exercises and answer submission (2 hours).

Pre-requisites:

1. Salesforce implementation experience will be a good advantage.
2. Student Information System experience will be a good advantage.

At this end of this certification, you should be able to:

1. Plan and run RIO Education implementation project using RIO Recipe.
2. Plan and run RIO Recipe Discovery stage.
3. Plan and run RIO Recipe UAT stage.

Certified Technical Consultant

The Technical Consultant Certification is required for team members with a Technical Consultant and/or Developer skillset. 

Estimated time to complete this certification: ~52 hours

Technical Certification Steps:

1. Complete RIO Challenges (~8 hours).
2. Complete of RIO Recipe training (2 hours).
3. Complete RIO Recipe exercises using our fictional Caloundra University (~40 hours).
4. Final Exam: Presentation of completed exercises and answer submission (2 hours).

Pre-requisites:

1. Salesforce knowledge and experience is required.
2. Salesforce data loader skill is a must-have.
3. Ability to install and configure App in Salesforce.

At this end of this certification, you should be able to:

1. Setup RIO Education from scratch.
2. Setup RIO Education demo instance for Discovery Sessions.
3. Prepare and load RIO Education Master Data.
4. Plan and run RIO Recipe Prototype stage.
