Time Block (EDA)
Time Block (EDA)
Time Block is an EDA object that we can use for streamlined Session creation using the Session Scheduler. A Time Block represents a period of time that a Session can run for. Time Blocks will basically be used to create Session Times.
For example, a high school may always follow the same pattern every day:
9:00 - 10:10 - Class 1.
10:10 - 11:20 - Class 2.
11:20 - 12:00 - Lunch 1.
12:00 - 1:10 - Class 3.
1:10 - 1:35 - Lunch 2.
1:35 - 2:45 - Class 4.
In this case, you would set up 5 Time Blocks:
1 parent Time Block.
4 class Time Blocks (one for each class time).
You would not create a Time Block for a time period where there would be no Sessions (for example, a break or a lunch).
