Description Resolution

Description

A student has been given special permission to take a Course without having to complete a pre-requisite Course as a requirement.

For example, the student is allowed to take 'Advanced Economics' without needing to complete 'Introduction to Economics' first.

How to allow this, only for some of the students that were given permission?

Resolution

The 'Allow Pre-Enrollment' option on the Plan Requirement allows students to enroll in a Course, without having to meet pre-requisites.

However, take note that doing the above will allow all the students in the Program Plan to do so.

To give this permission only to some specific students, this will need to be done at the individual student's Course Connection record.

See more information here at: Allow Pre-Enrollment (in Course Connection)‍.
