Setup Reporting Export
Before exporting the report, you will need to create a reporting export. This allows you to define the following important details:
- Reporting version.
- Reporting year.
- Export data date range.
Reporting Export
To create a reporting export:
- Switch to RIO Reporting Engine app.
- Click on the Reporting Export tab.
- Create a new export.
| Field | Description |
|---|---|
| Name | The identical name for the reporting export. |
| Reporting Configuration | The reporting configuration and query to use. |
| Educational Institution | The target educational institution record for the reporting export. This is also a system merge field {!eduid}. |
| Reporting Version | The target report version. Please see Setup Reporting Picklist Value Set for more details. |
| Reporting Year | The target reporting year. Please see Setup Reporting Picklist Value Set for more details. This is also a system merge field {!reportyear}. |
| Reporting Period | The target reporting period. Please see Setup Reporting Picklist Value Set for more details. This is also a system merge field {!reportperiod}. |
| From | Filter records based on date from. This is also a system merge field {!from}. |
| To | Filter records based on date to. This is also a system merge field {!to}. |
| Mark Reported Record | Enable this to mark reported record based on the "Reported Flag Field Name". |
| Gap Between Queries Export | Optional. Set this to allow gap in between queries and utilise System.scheduleBatch instead of Database.executeBatch to avoid lock contention issue between queries and records update. |
