Cloud Tech Training (1 month)
The first training gives trainees a fundamental understanding of Salesforce as a platform.
Trainees will be given a self-paced training program to learn basic configurations as well as next-gen AI technology in Salesforce.
Once the learning is completed, trainees get to apply what they have learned in a real-life mini-project.
Theory
Suggested Duration: 1-2 weeks
Trailhead is a self-paced Salesforce learning program that generates the necessary training material on-the-fly and has ability to validate the exercise result automatically.
Below is a set of Trailhead topics we think are relevant for your first month of training. Trainees are advised to sign up for a new free Salesforce Trailhead account.

Practical
Suggested Duration: 2-3 weeks
Now it is time to put what you have learned in practice.
Your mission is to develop an Admission Portal for RIO University (*fictional use case) to receive application for RIO Undergraduate Program.
Target users:
- Applicants - High school graduates who would like to further their tertiary study at the RIO University.
- Admission Officers - Internal admins who review/approve/reject applications.
High Level Use cases:
Applicant
- Applicants can view the admission requirements for the undergraduate program.
- Applicants can submit an application and upload the relevant files.
- Applicants can view the status of the submitted applications.
Admission Officer
- Admissions officer can view a dashboard of the latest information of the applications.
- Admissions officer can view the details of the applicants and their submitted applications.
- Admissions officer can approve/reject the applications by checking the applications files uploaded.

RIO Tech Training (1 month)
Now that you have learned Salesforce as a cloud technology, and have also done a mini project, it is time to look at what we have built in RIO Education.
This training will give you a walkthrough of the App (RIO Challenge) and test you with our certification process (RIO Certification).
Theory
Similar to Trailhead, the RIO team has developed the RIO Challenge program that helps you to learn RIO from scratch. For each RIO Challenge, we will generate the necessary data behind the scenes for you to complete the rest of the steps. Once you complete the exercise, click the Validate button to confirm the result.

Practical
Based on what you have learned in the RIO Challenge (Theory), it is time for you to set up the RIO Education app from scratch. You will be given a sample use case of RIO University and a test instance. Apply your knowledge to this test and get certified!
