Description

This class populates the Plan Requirement field on the Discipline Requirement record, based on the Course field.

It will look for a Plan Requirement (Course) that corresponds to the Course in both the related Program Plan and any shared groups.

If multiple Plan Requirements for the same Course are found, the one with the ‘Display as Required’ field checked will be chosen.

If either none or more than one of the Plan Requirements have this field checked, this class will throw an error. An error will also be thrown if no Plan Requirement is found.

Use case

In the event of the Program Plan containing multiple Plan Requirement (Course) that correspond to the same Course, this can save the effort of going through all the multiple records to locate the required one for the Discipline.
