Session Group (object)
Table of Contents
Overview
Session Groups are used to set the amount of available places in a Session for different groups of students.
It filters available places based on the Program Enrollment’s Study Groups. This way, you can allow a maximum number of students to enroll into a Session, but limiting them to a different number of students from different groups.
For example, instead of a Session having a flat 10 available places, you can create five Session Group records which will enforce the following limits:
- 4 vocalists
- 2 cello players
- 2 violinists
- 1 drummer
- 1 keyboardist
Before Session Groups can be used, they must first be enabled on the Session by enabling the “Use Session Groups” checkbox.
For a use case, see: Different "types/groups" of students for a Session.
