Description

You have a Course Connection that looks up to a wrong Contact, and you wish to update it.

However, the Course Connection has at least 1 Term Grade, which also looks up to the wrong Contact.

Because of this, you are unable to update the Contact lookup on either records.

Resolution

In order to change the Contact lookup on the Course Connection, you will need to do the following:

1. Update the Term Grade.
   1. Remove the lookup to the "Course Connection" (temporarily).
   2. Change the "Contact" lookup to the correct one.
      
      
      
       
2. Update the Course Connection to look up to the correct Contact.
   
   
   
    
3. Return to the Term Grade and restore the lookup to the same Course Connection again.
   
   

Notes:

If you have a duplicate Course Connection under the same Program Enrollment:

• Make sure to delete that duplicate Course Connection.
   
• If grades were already released for the duplicate Course Connection (before deletion), then, release grades for the original Course Connection again.
  This will help to recalculate the credits earned at the Program Enrollment level.
