RIO Ready: Update Term Fee Functionality Setup
To use this RIO Ready, you will need to:
- Set up the Update CO Fees Batch Size in custom settings.
- Set up a button on the Term object record page.
- (Optional) Add the Errors related list to the course offering record page.
Step 1: Set up the Update CO Fees Batch Size in custom settings.
Navigate to Setup >> Custom Settings >> Manage Records for RIO Education Settings. Set a batch size for processing the REDU_UpdateCourseOfferingFees_BATCH. The recommended batch size is 25-50.
Step 2: Set up a button on the Term object record page.
Navigate to Setup >> Object Manager >> hed__Term__c object >> Buttons, Links, and Actions. Create a new action using the REDU Update Fee Rate flow. Ensure the flow is activated.
Next, navigate to and edit the page layout that should have the 'Update Fee Rate' action button. Drag the action from the ‘Mobile & Lightning Actions’ section to the ‘Salesforce Mobile and Lightning Experience Actions’ section.
Next, expose the ‘Fee Update Status’ field on the term record page. Please ensure that the user has permission to view the field.
Step 3: (Optional) Add the Errors related list to the course offering record page.
Navigate to any course offering record page >> Click on the gear icon at the top and select Edit Page >> In the left panel, under Custom - Managed Accordion, drag the RIO Ed - Related List - Single (Aura) component to your preferred position to display the error logs.
