This article covers the components and objects involved in the admissions process - from new applicant sign up to application review and approval.

Student Community landing page
  • The "Home" page on the Student Community.
    • The "Home (Guest)" Page Variation.


Applicant signs up in the Student Community
  • The "REDU Self Register" component (as well as the "REDU Login Form").
    • In the "Register" page on the Student Community.
    • See setup guide: RIO Ready: Login/Self-Registration Functionality Setup‍.


Student Community home page
  • The "Home" page on the Student Community.
    • The "Home (Community)" Page Variation.


Applicant applies for a Program
  • The "REDU Program Application" flow (along with a "Record List" component).
    • In the "My Applications" page on the Student Community.
    • See setup guide: RIO Ready: Student Application Functionality Setup.


Applicant views the Program Application details
  • The "Record Banner" component.
    • In the "Program Application Detail" page on the Student Community.


Applicant views the requirements, and uploads the required documents
  • The "RIO Ed - Requirement Checklist Manager" component.
    • In the "Program Application Detail" page on the Student Community.
    • Can be configured to accept different types of file formats being uploaded.

  • The "Requirement Set Template" and "Requirement Template" objects.
    • Created as templates, which will automatically create the requirements for the applicant when the criteria field meets the expected value.

  • Custom formula field (e.g. "Local or International Applicant?") on the "Program Application" object.
    • Used as a criteria field on the "Requirement Set Template" object.
    • Returns values that the "Requirement Set Template" object will use as its expected value.

Admissions team reviews the Program Application in the internal console
  • The default "Application Status" Path.
  • The "RIO Ed - Requirement Checklist Manager" component.


These are exposed on the "RIOEducation Program Application" record page in the internal console.
