Troubleshooting: “Grade Setting record not found!” When Updating Course Connection with Auto Credit Transfer
Overview
When a Course Connection receives an Auto Credit Transfer from another Program Enrollment, users may encounter the following error during record update.
The Error Message below will be prompted during record update (if the Credit Transfer Received checkbox = True)
“Grade Setting record not found! Please review Grade Setting Type and then try again.”

This issue is commonly related to missing Agreement Course records used by the Auto Credit Transfer process.
Cause
The error occurs when the Agreement Course associated with the Auto Credit Transfer cannot be found.
In many cases, this happens because the Agreement Course record was deleted after the Auto Credit Transfer was processed. Since the transfer references this agreement, its absence leads to the error above.
If the Agreement Course is no longer valid, it must not be deleted. Instead, its Status should be set to Expired.
