What is RIO Ready, and why RIO Ready?
RIO Ready is a collection of metadata that is built on top of RIO Education.
RIO EDUCATION
Is an AppExchange application, you cannot edit the underlying code.
The aim of having RIO Ready is to deploy a set of pre-built components to:
- Reduce implementation time.
- Provide users with the ability to customize pre-configured RIO Education functionality according to their requirements.
Gives the users a head start on things. For example, an existing form for users to expand based on needs. |
Reduce implementation time - reusable components take less time to implement. |
Components are optional - to use or not to use. |
To develop a single function, for example the Login/Self Registration, would normally take about 20-40 hours.
RIO Ready on the other hand comes with functionalities that can be deployed in 30 minutes.
RIO Ready allows for greater customization of the additional functionality.
Take the Login/Self Registration function within the Student Community for example. In RIO Education, this is standard for all users, but each user may have different requirements.
With RIO Ready, users now have the option to either use the default functionality as it is, or use the components provided there to build their own custom setup.
