Program Course Requirement
Program Course Requirement serves as a template where it describes the conditions for a Course to be enrolled. It is created under Plan Requirement - Course.
To showcase the usage of this sheet, let's use one example data for RIO University.
Course ICT 221 has a pre-requisite requirement, which is to complete Course ICT 112 and Course ICT 115. Let's say ICT 112 is requirement A and ICT 115 is requirement B.
To meet this criteria, we have to create two lines of Program Course Requirement, stating the requirement A as Requirement ID: A and requirement B as Requirement ID: B, like this:
This actually is a reflection from how it is configured in the Plan Requirement Course sheet, with the stated Requirement Logic.
Column | Description |
Program Course Requirement Name | The name of the Program Course Requirement. |
Requirement ID | [ A / B / C ] It represents the Requirement Logic 'points' in Plan Requirement Course. |
Requirement Type |
[ Pre-requisite / Co-Requisite / Credit Point / Other ] Defines the type of the requirement. |
Credit Point | The amount of Credit Points to be achieved by the student before enrollment eligibility is given. |
Other | Marks the current requirement as a miscellaneous requirement, which means it won't be handled by RIO Education. Admins will have to personally assess the eligibility of a student. |
Course Ext ID | Points the requirement to the related Course. |
Plan Requirement Course Ext ID | Points the requirement to the related Plan Requirement Course. |
