Tip

If you have the same requirement across many Courses, consider using Course Requirement as a faster solution.

Program Course Requirement

Program Course Requirement serves as a template where it describes the conditions for a Course to be enrolled. It is created under Plan Requirement - Course.

To showcase the usage of this sheet, let's use one example data for RIO University.

Course ICT 221 has a pre-requisite requirement, which is to complete Course ICT 112 and Course ICT 115. Let's say ICT 112 is requirement A and ICT 115 is requirement B.

To meet this criteria, we have to create two lines of Program Course Requirement, stating the requirement A as Requirement ID: A and requirement B as Requirement ID: B, like this:

This actually is a reflection from how it is configured in the Plan Requirement Course sheet, with the stated Requirement Logic.

Column  Description
Program Course Requirement Name The name of the Program Course Requirement.
Requirement ID [ A / B / C ]
It represents the Requirement Logic 'points' in Plan Requirement Course.
Requirement Type [ Pre-requisite / Co-Requisite / Credit Point / Other ]
Defines the type of the requirement.
Credit Point The amount of Credit Points to be achieved by the student before enrollment eligibility is given.
Other Marks the current requirement as a miscellaneous requirement, which means it won't be handled by RIO Education. Admins will have to personally assess the eligibility of a student.
Course Ext ID Points the requirement to the related Course.
Plan Requirement Course Ext ID Points the requirement to the related Plan Requirement Course.
