Implementing a new Student Information System requires extensive discovery. It is very important to get the requirements right as early as possible in the project. To help drive a successful project, we use our methodology we call RIO Recipe. Here is how we visualise a SIS implementation:


We believe that there are many modules that evolve around a Program. There are sessions to cover different aspects of each Focus Area.

Depending on the size of your implementation, we may need more than 1 session to cover some sub-topics. For example, we may split Discovery Session 3 into 3.1 Student Management and 3.2 Student Community.

Each Session is divided into the following action items:

  1. Before: Initial preparation and due diligence from customer website before the meeting.
  2. During: What we need to find out or demonstrate during the session.
  3. After: Information we need from the customer after the session.
  4. Post-Discovery: Update the Requirement Templates accordingly.
